Landmark Center is located in St. Paul, Minnesota. This historic landmark was completed in 1902. Designed by Willoughby J. Edbrooke, the Landmark Center was originally a post office and a Court House for the state. At present, it serves as a cultural and arts center. The Center is known for its hipped red tile room and the pink granite ashlar on the exterior. There also are several turrets that sharply pitch, a design that was made to shed snow. Renovation of the Landmark Center was understanding from 1972 to 1978. It is home to several art organizations, including the American Association of Woodturners. It also holds the AAW Gallery of Wood Art. The Landmark Center is also home to the Schubert Club Museum and the Ramsey County Historical Society Gallery and Research Center.
