A small town in Middle Pomerania, Ustka, Poland is a famous tourist destination in Poland, primarily during the summer. Between the Czolpino and Jaroslawiec lighthouses stands the Ustka Lighthouse, which was built to protect the entranceway of the port. In the past, Ustka was an important coastal town for Slupsk. Today, the lighthouse is an important heritage site. It has a gallery at the top that is open to public viewing. Another interesting attraction in the area is the Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art, the only place in Slupsk to promote contemporary art.
