Samburu Airport - UAS
Samburu Airport is a public and civilian airport in Samburu, Kenya. The airport is owned and operated by the Kenya Airports Authority, together with nine other airstrips and airports in Kenya. UAS Airport is located inside the Samburu National Reserve and is within close proximity to the geographical center of the Kenya Republic. It can be accessed 144 miles by air from the main airport of the country, the Nairobi International Airport where the main headquarters of the Kenya Airports Authority is located.

It mainly serves the areas in the Samburu National reserve and its nearby villages and municipalities. The airport currently has a single runway, with asphalt covering that is around 810 meters long. Flights to Nairobi-Wilson and Masai Mara are currently served in the airport via scheduled flights from Airkenya Express and Safarlink. Karatina is a nearby town where tourists can check out the open air markets and several national museums in the area such as the Nyeri Museum. Other nearby cities include Nyeri and Meru.
