Tuxtla Gutierrez International Airport – TGZ

Tuxtla Gutierrez International Airport, also known as the Angel Albino Corzo International Airport is a public airport located in Chiapa de corzon, Chiapas, Mexico. It serves Tuxtla Gutierrez, which is the capital and the largest city in the Mexican state of Chiapas. Owned by the local government, the airport is operated by the Grupo Aeroportuario de Chiapas. Its IATA code is TGZ and its ICAO code is MMTG. There is one runway with a concrete surface and measures 8,202 feet. The airport sits at an elevation of 1,499 feet. In 2018, it handled over 1.3 million passengers, which ranked it as the 14th busiest airport in Mexico.

Then president Vicente Fox and Governor Pablo Salazar Mediguchia inaugurated the airport in 2006. It replaced the Francisco Sarabia National Airport.
