Serving the capital and the largest city in the state of Saarland in Germany, Saarbrücken Airport is located in Saarbrücken. It is also called Flughafen Saarbrücken or Ensheim Airport in German. The airport offers flights to the major cities in Germany and also to some leisure routes. Saarbrücken Airport was one of the 17 airports in Germany to offer international flights to passengers in 1972.
