Ontario Science Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Ontario Science Centre is a museum located in Toronto, Canada. Near the Don Valley Parkway, Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue. The science center was built on one branch of Don River, and it is located in Flemingdon Park. The planning stage for the center started in 1962 after the city’s massive expansion. In 1964, Raymond Moriyama was hired to design the structure. The construction started after two years. It was officially called Centennial Ontario Science and Technology Museum. However, it was not completed during the Canadian Centennial celebrations. It was opened to the public after two years. During that time, the science center was known for its hands-on approach to science. The majority of the exhibits are hands-on and interactive.

The Science Center is near Oakville and The Village. Boyd Conservation Area is a land preservation area owned by the government. It is a great attraction for those who love hiking and other recreational activities. There is also the Centennial Park Golf Centre, which is not only for golfers but for the whole family. It offers opportunities for recreation. Silver Creek Conservation Area is composed of wetlands, prairies and other natural resources. It is ideal for those who love nature.
