Yonaguni Airport - OGN

The Yonaguni Airport (OGN) is a regional airport that was built in 1943 for military use. It wasn't until 1957 when it began operating as a civilian airport. In 2007, it began serving international flights, including Uni Air chartered flights to and from Taipei and TransAsia Airways flights to Hualien. It also serves Japan Transocean Air flights to Ishigaki. Run by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan, the Yonaguni Airport features a 2,000-meter runway and is located 15 meters above sea level.
