Grundarfjörður Airport – GUU

The airport is located on a peninsula five miles north of Grundarfjörður and serves the town and the nearby places. The Grundarfjörður Airport, which has GUU as its IATA code is a public type airport. It takes passengers to and from Grundarfjörður town. The town is also home to three museums namely; The Volcano Museum, The Norwegian House, and The Library of Water. You can easily drive to the tourists' sites of Stykkisholmur from the airport.
