The Danish Design Centre is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a national design center and its mission is to help promote design use in business and in local industry. They also aim to professionalize, promote, and brand Danish design in the country and internationally. Founded in 1978, the Danish Design Centre focused its early years on industrial design. The design Centre was moved to its new location on H.C. Andersens Boulevard in 2000. The next date saw the Danish Design Centre push for the promotion of ‘Design Thinking’. The new place provided a venue for the Danish Design Centre to host a number of exhibits, which were open to the general public. In 2013, the Danish Design Centre moved again. This time they were relocated to BLOX, which is situated in a former brew site.
