Craiova International Airport operates under the airport code CRA and is located 4.3 miles from the municipality of Craiova, Romania situated in the southwestern part of the country. This public airport acts as the main base of Avioane Craiova, which was formerly called IRAv Craiova. Avioane Craiova is the company responsible for building the IAR-93 and IAR-99 aircraft.

In 2018, CRA attended to a total of 493,056 passengers and primarily serves the city of Craiova.
