Centre National d'Etudes Edmond Michelet, Brive-la-Gaillarde, France

Housed in the previous residence of Edmond Michelet, a French statesman in the mid-1900's, the Centre National d'Etudes Edmond Michelet is among the local tourist attractions of the city of Brive-la-Gaillarde, France. The center preserves the works and personal documents of the politician, serving as an archive and documentation center. There are nine exhibition rooms within the property that will take visitors on a journey back to the past, from World War II to the liberation of the town itself. In total, no less than 400 French propaganda posters are displayed around the museum.

After paying a visit to the Centre National d'Etudes Edmond Michelet, make time to drop by the Musee Labenche and Church of St-Martin, as well. The church, which is formally referred to as the Collegiate Church of Saint Martin de Brive, was constructed back in the 12th century and featured a Latin cross shape.
