Provincetown Municipal Airport – PVC Airport
Provincetown Municipal Airport is located at the end of Cape Cod, in Provincetown, Massachusetts. US National Park Service leases the land on which the airport sits and being operated by the Town of Provincetown. PVC Airport is a public airport used for general aviation and by Cape Air, the commercial airline that operates non-stop flights to the Logan International Airport in Boston.
Best Time to Visit
The Provincetown Municipal Airport was first constructed during the 1940s. It wasn’t until 1948 when its runway was paved. Presently, the terminal is a simple single-story structure that was constructed in 1998. There is a terminal that caters to Cape Air check-in as well as a waiting area, a conference room, and TSA screening areas. Only recently has high-speed internet access been added for both passengers and crew members to enjoy. There is free parking for vehicles used by passengers and aircraft parking as well that’s available from Cape Air. In total, the airport covers 310 acres of land. Nearby cities also use the airport for their travels, including Arlington and Boston.

The Provincetown Municipal Airport may be located at a slightly secluded area but a short drive away will lead travelers to a host of hotels and inns almost right away.
