Hans Christian Andersen Airport – ODE Odense, Denmark
Hans Christian Andersen Airport (ODE) is a small airport serving the Danish city of Odense. Named after the famous Danish author, it is sometimes called Beldringe Lufthavn because it is situated in the village of Beldringe some 4.5 miles north-northwest of the city. ODE Airport had its beginnings as a military field in the early 1940s during the German occupation of Denmark.The current terminal building and tower were built in the ‘70s.

Today, a number of airlines operate seasonal and seasonal charter services to and from Odense to a few exciting holiday destinations across Europe. Communities on the periphery of the airport like Southdjurs Municipality, Voel and Malling use the airport for their travels.
