Londolovit Airport – LNV Lihir, Papua New Guinea

Lihir Island, the largest island in the Lihir group of islands in Papua New Guinea’s New Ireland province, hosts the Londolovit Airport. Also known as Lihir Airport, it is a small public air facility serving a fairly remote part of the country. Lihir is a mining town that’s why the mining company on the island is highly dependent on the airport for the transporting of its personnel as well as equipment.
