Four Corners Regional Airport - FMN
The city of Farmington, New Mexico is served by the Four Corners Regional Airport. Its airport code of FMN comes from the city name itself. The first flight that took off, FMN was handled by the Monarch Airlines in the year 1947. Unfortunately, since 2017, all commercial flights have been halted and there are no exact dates as to when they will resume.

The FMN-Four Corners Regional Airport has a single terminal and two runways. It was a hub for Frontier Airlines and Mesa Airlines before. Great Lakes Airlines also used to serve the Four Corners Regional Airport with flights to and from Denver but as previously mentioned, these flights are no longer available as of the moment. The primary use for the airport now is solely general aviation and military operations. You can easily access the cities of Durango and Ignacio from FMN.

The highly rated places by travelers include Economy Inn, which is about five minutes away and for about three minutes more you will be able to find the Silver River Adobe Inn and the chic The Region Inn Farmington. Do take note that only the latter provides free airport shuttle service.
Since commercial airlines do not fly to Four Corners Regional Airport anymore, your best bet to visit Farmington, NM is to use the Durango-La Plata County Airport in Durango, Colorado. This airport is about an hour and ten minutes away.
